Our chief want in life

is someone

who will make us do

what we can.

AIM Approach

Leaders MUST inspire shared visions, innovate proactively, lead by example and empower others for success.

What is your leaders' authentic leadership style?

How do they consistently position themselves, their teams and their organizations for success? Do they deliver results while developing their teams and experiencing fulfillment? Are their strategies sustainable?

AIM Clients are NOT satisfied with the status quo. Too often, skilled individuals rise through an organization without focusing on or developing their personal leadership style. AIM Leadership helps successful individuals explore and leverage their unique strengths so that they can deliver unprecedented results, consistently.

Are your leaders...

Learning constantly?
Doing more with less?
Strengthening their credibility?
Leading with purpose?
Communicating with clarity?
Developing a sustainable work-life balance?
Enhancing their emotional intelligence?
Focused on learning what will matter the most?
Maximizing their team and their own growth?
Attracting and retaining top talent?

AIM Leadership teaches clients to:

Learn...Constantly
Failure happens when we do not learn from our actions and/or we forget lessons we have learned from past mistakes.  Just as organizations make assessments using after-action reports, to reflect and learn for the future, so should individuals.  AIM clients practice reflecting on and assessing actions so that such reflection becomes automatic.  Action reflection learning is a foundation of AIM coaching to help your leaders constantly develop and improve.

Do more with less

How often are your leaders expected to deliver more results with less time, a smaller staff or fewer resources? Virtually everyone has unique talents, gifts and capabilities that have not been leveraged.  With AIM coaching, individuals access and apply these untapped capabilities.  They first identify resources within themselves, their colleagues, their staff and their environment and then harness these to deliver results.  In the end, AIM Clients work smarter without having to work harder to achieve positive outcomes.

Strengthen their credibility
What is created when you witness someone preach one thing, then practice another?  AIM Clients develop the ability to reflect on both what they do AND how they do it.  They align their outer actions to their inner values. Credibility as a leader depends upon this congruency.

Lead with a purpose
Think of a leader you admire: what makes that person so attractive?  Most often, we are drawn to those who believe strongly in something and are willing to take a stand for it.  AIM Coaches individuals to clarify their beliefs and to correlate inner values with outer action so that they lead with purpose.

Communicate with clarity
What percentage of your day do you spend communicating – emailing, speaking, listening or writing? Communication is essential to leadership and yet researchers estimate that 93% of communication is non-verbal in the form of body language and tone.  AIM Clients develop new distinctions for listening and communicating, which in turn create greater clarity, connection and commitment.

Develop a sustainable work/life balance
Sustained peak performance demands that leaders balance their personal and professional lives.  Delivering consistent excellence consistently time and time again requires leaders to have stamina and endurance in many arenas.  AIM teaches leaders to exercise regularly – in mind, body and spirit.

Enhance their emotional intelligence
Self-awareness is a cornerstone of emotional intelligence.  Have you heard variations of the phrase “two sets of eyes are better than one” or “it takes two to see one”?  AIM Coaches help your leaders to become their own second set of eyes – to observe their actions, beliefs, results and beyond.  Clients become more aware of their natural tendencies and preferences.  Ultimately, with increased emotional intelligence and awareness, leaders develop the insight, awareness and agility to lead even more effectively.

Learn what they need, when they need it
Busy professionals rarely have time to stay abreast of leadership and management research, techniques and theory.  AIM Coaches stay up-to-date with all of the above and do this for your leaders. We provide frameworks, tools and recommended readings most relevant for to the challenges your leaders face.  Laser learning focuses on what is most important, maximizing the time individuals commit – learning faster and leading more effectively.

Maximize growth
The intersection of assessment, challenge and support is the learning sweet-spot.  AIM Coaches are certified in numerous assessments designed to provide feedback, enhance self-knowledge, explain natural preferences and support development.  Leaders can trust that the certified AIM Coaches will use these assessments to effectively increase self-awareness, empowering individuals to target areas for growth. Regardless of the developmental challenges we identify, AIM Coaches assist leaders in addressing potential career hazards, leveraging strengths and delivering results.

Attract and retain excellence
If challenging and developing staff can increase retention, improve job satisfaction, AND deliver unprecedented results, why aren’t more people doing it?  Given that people frequently change jobs and the high turnover rate in most industries, development is perceived as the “new employee perk”.  AIM supports organizations in developing staff – delivering candid and useful feedback, fostering open communication, assessing individuals’ talents and appreciating individual contributions.
